- Agustin madala
Agustin Madala was born in August 2nd 1986, in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where he spent most of his life except from 2006-2009 when he was living in Torino, Italy, where, after graduating from School, he moved to play in the Lavazza Team.
He started playing bridge at the age of 7, and played his first national event in Argentina at the age of just 9.
Agustin competed for the Argentinian Juniors since 1998, and for the Argentinian Open team since 2001, winning one South American Junior Championship and three South American Open Championships.
After moving to Italy ,he was asked by the Italian National Team to stop playing for Argentina so he could have a place in the Italian National Team, where he started playing in 2010 and competed in three European Championships, winning Gold in 2010 and Bronze in 2012 and four Bermuda Bowls, winning bronze in 2011 and Gold in 2013.
Agustin returned to Argentina to play for the for the Argentinian National team in 2024 where he won the South American Championships and lost in the semi-final at the 2024 World Bridge Games, in Buenos Aires.
He has been involved with the WBF in the past, as a Member of Youth Committee and High Level Players Committee.
